MSEs owners and potential entrepreneurs (grass-root entrepreneurs) are provided with a wide-spectrum of financing services,and non-financial services or business development services (BDS). The BDS include business skills training programs, one-on-one mentoring sessions, networking and funding opportunities through events and competitions. In addition, specialized training programs focusing on different business and management functions, and specialized one-on-one consultation sessions focusing on financial statements, due diligence, legal counseling, team management, product design, value-proposition and market offering, pitching to investors, and access to events and exhibitions are provided based on the needs of the program’s participants.
The financing services include micro-loans ranging from EGP 5,000 to EGP 100,000), in addition to seed funds or grants in some cases for start-ups or early-stage businesses. The financing instruments and products are transaction-based and tailored to match different business stages (start-ups to ready for growth) and sectors (agriculture, production, service, and trade).
