In cooperation with Athens Network of Collaborating Experts (ANCE NGO), and funded of the European Union within the framework of the TVET Egypt program, AYB-SD is working on strengthening the employability of Egyptian youth, women, unemployed and low-skilled workers in the tourism sector through improving transition to employment and encouragement of job seekers to become entrepreneurs in the tourism sector in Greater Cairo, Hurghada, Aswan and Dakahleya governorates.
The project components include increasing the skills and hence the opportunities of youth and women to find decent jobs in tourism sector, enhancing the skills of the current work force in tourism sector which increases their promotion opportunities and improve their careers as well as the contribution of the sector to the whole economy, and enhancing the entrepreneurial ability of women and youth to support the creation and management of their own businesses serving the tourism sector.
